UEBT is a small non-profit association that promotes sourcing with respect. Based in Amsterdam yet working globally, we set good practices for how companies and their suppliers source natural ingredients derived from biodiversity (e.g. seeds, spices, flowers, extracts, oils, etc). These ingredients are often collected from the wild or cultivated on small farms by local people. We work primarily with sustainability-minded companies in the cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical and food sectors including Weleda, Natura, Symrise, Firmenich and others. We are internationally recognised for our work advancing business contributions to sustainable development goals.
